Za-Za

Well done to Jenny and Kasia for all their hard work in setting up our new Za-Za Care Recruitment office in Krakow in Poland. This office is now open (even with the heavy snowfalls!!). Kasia who manages the new office in Poland is very busy interviewing and screening applicants and it is hoped that Jenny will be settling in our first new recruits very soon.

APDA

We are very excited about the possibilities of setting up a partnership with the Asian People with Disabilities Alliance. We are hoping that this partnership will prove to be a real step forward in bringing focus to under represented groups in our local communities, both in work and as valued Service Users.

New Area Offices

We have been very busy in head office the last few months applying for new business in and around London. Our successes of the past continue with our being awarded a contract in South Oxfordshire, where we shall be starting on 1st July. This will include areas more rural than we have worked in before, and we expect sheep blocking the road to replace traffic jams as the main reason for carers running late! We are also very pleased to have been awarded a bigger contract in Merton, where we have already been working for some years. To date we haven’t seen any sheep blocking the roads in Merton!

Everyone Loves a Wedding

All the girls at the Brent office have got their eyes peeled for new hats!! Viral a careworker at Enara has done the right thing and asked Roopal also from our Brent team to marry him. The wedding is all planned and we are sure that it will be a wonderful day. We wish them all the best for a wonderful day and life together.

Training

2006 Training Calendar

A New Year and a New Training Calendar. With the help of Ace Training we have prepared an extensive programme of topics ranging from Alzheimers and dementia to HIV/aids. All the subjects on the calendar have been chosen by you, taken from the annual appraisals that you did recently with your manager. If you ask in your office they will let you know when each training session is coming up.

“I wish to thank you very much for all the help and care you have given to me over the years. My carer that comes to help with my shower is so nice and happy always”
